About me

Originally from the Cologne region in Germany, I studied political science and economics in Marburg, Lund (Sweden), Auckland (New Zealand), and at Freie Universität Berlin. I then joined the NGO Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevölkerung (DSW), where I worked for several years, most recently as a Director with responsibility for projects and teams across six European and East African countries. Leading diverse teams from around the world deepened my interest in organizational development. During my second parental leave, I completed a one-year certification program as a systemic organizational consultant – a step that inspired me to establish my own practice.

Today, I am a partner at Como Consult GmbH and part of its network of consultants, where I also contribute as a trainer in our organizational development program. In addition, I am a member of the ARD.ZDF medienakademie’s pool of trainers.

In my work, I am guided by the question of how cooperation can succeed in achieving common goals – whether between individuals or organizations, on a local or global scale. I collaborate with companies, non-profits, ministries, public broadcasting institutions, the United Nations, parliamentarians, foundations, and think tanks. My projects and assignments have taken me to countries such as Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, the United States, and many European countries. I am particularly inspired by working in intercultural contexts and across diverse organizational cultures.

I live in Berlin with my wife and our two children. Every summer, we return to our second home in Sweden. In my free time, I enjoy playing padel, tennis, and basketball, and I find balance and joy in singing with my choir.

After a thorough clarification of the assignment, I work with you to design processes with clear steps and defined roles – and accompany you throughout, from developing to implementing the desired change or strategy. My approach draws primarily on methods from the systemic consulting tradition.

I have completed advanced training in organizational development, collegial leadership, agile working, OKR, Effectuation, Theory U, strategic scenario planning, mindfulness, regenerative management, as well as language and diversity. I also bring extensive consulting experience with the Capacity WORKS management model for strategic cooperation. I work in both German and English and make use of appropriate digital collaboration tools in virtual settings.
